22Just be who I made you to be! Trust in me for
your salvation, not your accomplishments! (vs. 9)
23Well, Im no Billy Graham.
24Ive read the last page of the Bible and its
all going to turn out all right. Billy Graham
25The strength for our conquering and our victory
is drawn continually from Christ. The Bible
does not teach that sin is completely
eradicated from the Christian in this life, but
it does teach that sin shall no longer reign over
you. The strength and power of sin have been
broken. The Christian now has resources
available to live above and beyond this world.
The bible teachers that whosoever is born of God
does not practice sin. It is like the little
girl who said that when the devil came knocking
with temptation, she just sent Jesus to the
door. Billy Graham
26Finish well and never stop growing! (vs. 10-13)

28When I was in the hospital in Hawaii, I read
again of the shocking events which led up to the
destruction of the United States fleet at Pearl
Harbor. On that fateful day of December 7,
1941, the Japanese attacked. We know now that
the attack was invited by our failure to be
always vigilant. The result was the destruction
of our fleet- the cause was tragic indifference.
When comfort and ease and pleasure are put ahead
of duty and conviction, progress is always set
back. What makes us Christians shrug our
shoulders when we ought to be flexing our
muscles? What makes us apathetic in a day when
there are loads to lift, a world to be won, and
captives to be set free? Why are so many bored,
when the times demand action? Christ told us
that in the last days there would be n insipid
attitude toward life. Billy Graham
29if we could live every day as though it might
be the very last one before the final judgment,
what a difference it would make here on earth!
But we dont like to think that way. We dont
like to think that our carefully made plans, our
long-range schemes may be interrupted by the
trumpet of God. Too many people would rather
say, Oh, well, the end of the world hasnt come
yet, so why think about itIts probably a
thousand years away. Billy Graham

generation. They turned the world upside down
because their hearts had been turned right side
