• LAMP?

LAMP is a regional alliance of ten information
schools and academic libraries throughout the
Midwest dedicated to helping students from
statistically underrepresented populations to
pursue careers within the field of library and
information science.

• What did the scholars tell us about the program
• They like the idea of having a mentor
• Theyre excited about the prospect of becoming a
  mentor themselves when they graduate
• They see the program as an opportunity to build
  professional relationships and network
• The knowledge that their financial burden will be
  lighter makes it easier to excel at their studies
  and focus on their future in the field.
