Why is water needed by living organisms?
  • Without water there can be no life.
  • Growing of plants.
  • Animals depend on it to grow.
  • Fresh water used by humans. Salt water used by
    fishes.
  • Recreation- sports swimming.
  • Transport purposes

The water cycle
  • Movement of water between the ground and
    atmosphere.
  • Evaporation- occurs when the sun shines on our
    bodies- water vapour.
  • Water vapour rises condensation.
  • Clouds form and water falls as rain-
    precipitation.

  • Causes soap, household cleaners, sewerage.
  • Oil tankers spilled kills seabirds etc.
  • People are at risk of diseases like cholera

My own opinion.
  • Clean water is essential for life.
  • Light cannot penetrate muddy water for
    photosynthesis to take place.
  • All human beings have a right to access clean
    water. It is everybodys responsibility to
    protect it.
  • People, animals and plants are at risk due to
    polluted water.
