• Question 1. if God be for us who can be against
  us
• He could have put this very differently because
  we face a lot of opposition in an unbelieving
  world

• But when we bring God into the picture, when we
  remember that our lives are held in the hands of
  a God of sovereign power, infinite love Then we
  realise these things will never prevail against
  us

• Question 2 Again Paul could have put this very
  differently. But he starts from the Cross
• What he is saying is look to the Cross, this God
  can be trusted no matter what we go through in
  this life

• Question 3, again could be put very differently.
  For there are many in this world ready to accuse
  the Christian
• But again we look to the Cross for it reminds us
  that our salvation doesnt rest on us, on our
  merit Rather its about who God is and what He
  has done

• Question 4 really just builds on this, fills it
  out. For here there are reminders that Christ
  now has the supreme place of honour, power and
  authority
• We need to remember that Christ is there
  interceding for us, and that if our faith is
  true, that He will carry you through, that He
  will never let you go

• Question 5 runs from v35 on. There is an all
  embracing list of what might separate us from the
  love of Christ
• Can these things separate us from Gods love in
  Christ? Pauls answer is an emphatic NO!

• For Christ, the Cross, the power and love of God
  demonstrated there cry out that there is nothing
  in heaven or earth that can overwhelm or overturn
  this work of God
• May we learn to value the things of God and to
  trust in Him to keep us and never let us go
