  • Publication that contributes to the increase of
    awareness of the Spanish citizens and therefore
    to the better understanding of the value of
    energy.
  • Written in a comprehensible style for the
    general public it includes topics such as energy
    and energy supply, heating and hot water,
    domestic appliances, the kitchen, lighting, air
    conditioning, domestic residues, energy at the
    work place, energy saving with the car and energy
    efficient driving habits.

for families
  • Objective Content To provide easy and
    understandable information on domestic appliances
    to the final users.

  • Target Public Families
  • Distribution 200.000 copies through an agreement
    with the Spanish National Institute of
    Consumption (INC). IDAE was responsible for the
    technical contents and the publication the INC
    for the distribution.

  • Objective Content Promotion of energy
    efficient lamps to final users
  • Budget 1.100.000 from the Ministry of
    Industry, Tourism and Commerce

  • Distribution 100.000 through the 19 regional
    governments (schools elaborating pedagogic
    actions, appliances distribution centres..)
  • Monitoring Follow up Trough the regional
    government. Each Government will design the
    measure.

Schools Network
  • Objective Content Agreement between IDAE and
    Greenpeace for the installation of photovoltaic
    solar energy in 52 Spanish public schools,
    including as well the elaboration of pedagogic
    material for teachers and pupils (manual for
    teachers, material for pupils, lab practices and
    guided tours). www.solarizate.org. At this moment
    there are 26 installations in operation.
  • IDAE signs an agreement with the municipality or
    government council, as owners of the public
    school to exploit the installation for 20 years.
    After the first year, the owner has the choice to
    buy the installation and exploit himself.

  • Budget Total 1.202.024 . The cost of the
    installation in each school is 18600, and is
    completely covered by IDAE, through TPF system.
    This cost covers the installation, the
    maintenance, insurances and the elaboration of
    the pedagogic material for the school.
  • Target Public Administration, Schools, teachers
    and pupils
  • Monitoring Evaluation Only monitoring of the
    installations, not of the dissemination material
    and of the satisfaction of teachers and pupils.
    The installations are performing over the
    foreseen productivity.

  • Objective Content Multimedia product to inform
    and to educate about renewable and conventional
    energy and its efficient use. It includes four
    thematic areas on RES, conventional energy,
    energy in the city and at home, a teachers lab as
    well as games and videos.
