Overarching aim for the day
  • The opening seminar is intended to bring people
    new to the Ecosystem Approach up to speed,
    advance thinking about the concept generally, and
    develop a multidisciplinary perspective on its
    practical application to management of the marine
    environment with particular reference to the UK

    understanding the variety of disciplinary
    perceptions on the Ecosystem Approach
  • Key themes foundations, fundamental concepts
    and practical considerations of the Ecosystem

    management)
