- A Partnership
- of the Halton School Board, Town of Halton Hills,
and the Community - To Build
- A state of the art outdoor athletic facility at
Georgetown District High School including
artificial turf, all weather track, lights, and
scoreboard - For use by the community
- Georgetown District High school during school
hours, and thereafter by the Georgetown
Community. Sponsored by the Georgetown Soccer
Club and the Halton Hills Wildcats Football
Association
- A needed facility for this community
- Georgetown needs more athletic fields to meet the
growing community needs - Artificial turf is a better solution, equivalent
to 3 grass fields and allows for early spring
access - Locating at GDHS is a Win Win, providing an
upgraded facility for the school in the center of
the community
- How the project works
- The Halton School Board builds the facilities at
GDHS - The Town of Halton Hills agrees to maintain the
facility, and manage after school rental - The Georgetown Soccer Club and Halton Hills
Football Association commit to annual rental
hours - The community raises 500,000
