A Georgetown Community Project
  • A Partnership
  • of the Halton School Board, Town of Halton Hills,
    and the Community
  • To Build
  • A state of the art outdoor athletic facility at
    Georgetown District High School including
artificial turf, all weather track, lights, and
    scoreboard
  • For use by the community
  • Georgetown District High school during school
hours, and thereafter by the Georgetown
Community. Sponsored by the Georgetown Soccer
Club and the Halton Hills Wildcats Football
    Association
  • A needed facility for this community
  • Georgetown needs more athletic fields to meet the
    growing community needs
  • Artificial turf is a better solution, equivalent
to 3 grass fields and allows for early spring
    access
  • Locating at GDHS is a Win Win, providing an
upgraded facility for the school in the center of
    the community
  • How the project works
  • The Halton School Board builds the facilities at
    GDHS
  • The Town of Halton Hills agrees to maintain the
facility, and manage after school rental
  • The Georgetown Soccer Club and Halton Hills
Football Association commit to annual rental
    hours
  • The community raises 500,000
