Trachea
A thin walled tube connecting the larynx to the
bronchi and carrying air to the lungs.

Bronchial Tubes
Either of two main branches of the trachea,
leading directly to the lungs.

Alveoli
A tiny, thin-walled, capillary-rich sac in the
lungs where the exchang of oxygen and carbon
dioxide takes place.

Lungs
Spongy saclike respiratory organs in the chest
cavity that remove carbon dioxide and supply
oxygen

A muscular membrane separating the abdomen and
lung cavity
