• CREATEC achieved Level II status at the beginning
  of 2006
• Deanna was appointed as Executive Officer in May
  2006
• Glynis was appointed as Administrative Assistant
  in June 2006

• Identify key research areas for a targeted
  approach to establish new research funding
  opportunities
• Establish new industry, government and community
  partners that will be demonstrable as a presence
  on the website as collaborators with logos and
  statements of affiliation

• Attract new research projects and funding
• Increase Research Activity Index (RAI) and
  Creative Performance Arts Activity Index (CPAI)
  points amongst the membership
• Build a professional website that promotes
  research culture and partner collaboration
• Organise a yearly event to promote CREATEC to the
  wider community

• Attract at least 2 visiting scholars each year,
  who are clearly identified as meeting targeted
  area criteria
• Run fortnightly seminars to increase research
  culture within the faculty
• Increase CREATEC active membership from last year

Small Grant Management

• Previously run by RHD
• Run the second round of Small Grants for 2006,
  20k will be available
• Applications due in by 25th August 2006
• Applications will be sent out on Friday 28th July
  2006

PhD Proposals

• These will continue to be run by RHD Office
• CREATEC would like to support any PhD students
  who might like to use the seminar time as an
  early forum prior to their presentations

PR event

• It is proposed that CREATEC have some form of
  event in November 2006
• increase CREATEC profile
• attract external collaborators
• hunting for patrons sponsors
• What format should this take? What focus should
  it take?
