  • Coordination linked to annual conferences of
    European Public Health Association
  • Two workshops will address methodologies and
    research policy implementation
  • Continued engagement with stakeholders
  • Promoting a European Research Area.

EPHA Workpackage
  • Consult with EPHA members and other NGOs
    (especially accession countries) on their views
    on public health research
  • Promote discussion of DG Research 7th Framework
    Programme with European institutions and groups.
  • Consult with EUPHA to develop an expert knowledge
    base for advice on public health policy

EPHA Outcomes
  • Include both country-level and European-level
    observations
  • Particular emphasis on citizens perceptions
  • Produce two reports
  • Report on process and findings of consultation at
    EUPHA conference 2006
  • Final report for SPHERE by June 2007
