Elizabeth As a Child

• Henry VIII wanted a son. When Elizabeth was
  two.
• Her mother Anne Boleyn was executed. From then on
  Elizabeth had four different stepmothers. She was
  in great danger later on in her Catholic sisters
  reign because she was Protestant. Surprisingly
  not, the 25 year old woman who became Queen in
  1558 had learnt to hide her feelings.

Edward As a Child

• Edward was a clever but serious boy. He could
  talk to important foreign visitors in Latin and
  was carefully educated to be King. Edward could
  not rule England by himself because he was so
  young, so he had an ambitious uncle who made him
  self Duke of Summerset. He was then pushed out by
  the Duke of Northumberland.

Their Parents.

• Marys Mother was Catherine of Aragon. Henry
  VIII, her father, banished Catherine from court
  and she never saw her mother again.
• Edwards Mother was Jane Seymour. She was Henrys
  most adored wife whom he loved very much. Sadly
  she died after 1 week of Edwards birth.
• Elizabeths Mother was Anne Boleyn. Anne was
  noticed in court by Henry, sadly she got beheaded
  after rumours of an affair.
