- AMS offers a wide variety of Online Information
on occupations, vocational education and training
and about the labour market.
- These information resources and guidance tools
are open to the general public and their use is
free. They are available through
- Any computer with access to the Internet
- Self service computers at AMS career information
centres and information zones

Information Guidance
- AMS has no System of distance career counselling.
However Web based tools, tests and information
databases are used as part of and in connection
to the counselling process.
- For the integration of these tools into the daily
work of AMS counsellors training opportunities
are provided as
- Part of the basic training for new counsellors
- In-house further training courses
- Web-based further training modules in the AMS

of occupations based on an analysis of the users
explicit personal dispositions

that provides detailed information about the

Summary After completing 75 questions of the
test (about 15-20 minutes) the user can decide to
reduce the number of suggested occupations on the
list according to which level of education should
be required. Then he or she can have a look at
the description of his/her personal results,
compare his/her personal profile with profiles of
suggested occupations or apply additional
filters. Each occupation is linked to the
respective online career information.
