Requirements for Medical School

• Bachelor degree or CEGEP (2-4 years)
• Good academic grades
• Any type of undergraduate degree
• Pre-requisites as determined by individual
  universities
• Commitment to volunteer work
• Community leadership
• Demonstrated interest in medicine
• MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) required
  by almost all schools

Medical Training

• Doctor of Medicine Degree (3-4 years)
• Then,
• 2 years for Royal Collage Family Medicine OR
• 4-6 years for Royal College Specialist programs
