Backing up your files

• Step 1 Get the software you need!
• Go to www.uvm.edu/cit/software choose software
  archives- sign in (w/ your net-id). Choose your
  operating system (Mac/Win)

• Step 1 (Cont) Scroll down the page and find
• - SECURE SHELL VERSION 3.2.9 (SSH)
• Download the program to your desktop and run it
  from there!

• Enter your password, click OK.
• Add your zoo acct to the profiles. This way you
  wont have to type in all your info every time.

Adding a remote folder
Add a new folder on the Remote
side -Name it My Documents hit enter to
save changes

• Notice the difference between Local and Remote
  computers.
• Local is your computer / Remote is the Server

• Click on file icon
• Drag folders and docs into the remote folder
• Let go of file to transfer

• Double click the folder and compare your files.
• Congratulations you are backed up to Zoo!!!
