    with God.

called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
after you have suffered a while, perfect,
    establish, strengthen, and settle you.

8
Highest Usage
  • 1 Peter 110 Of this salvation the prophets have
inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied
of the grace that would come to you,..
  • Ephesians 27 that in the ages to come He might
show the exceeding riches of His grace in His
kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
  • John 316 For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in

little lower than the angels, for the suffering
of death crowned with glory and honor, that He,
by the grace of God, might taste death for
    everyone.

10
What Did This Grace Bring?
  • Ephesians 17 In Him we have redemption through
His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to
    the riches of His grace.
  • Titus 37 that having been justified by His grace
we should become heirs according to the hope of
    eternal life.

salvation has appeared to all men,

11
For Whom?
  • Hebrews 29 But we see Jesus, who was made a
little lower than the angels, for the suffering
of death crowned with glory and honor, that He,
by the grace of God, might taste death for
    everyone.
  • Titus 211 For the grace of God that brings
salvation has appeared to all men,..
  • 1 John 21-21 My little children, these things I
write to you, so that you may not sin. And if
anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father,
Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is
the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours
only but also for the whole world.

12
What Does It Cost?
  • Ephesians 28 For by grace you have been saved
through faith, and that not of yourselves it is
    the gift of God,
  • Romans 515 But the free gift is not like the
offense. For if by the one mans offense many
died, much more the grace of God and the gift by
the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded
    to many.

Absolutely nothing It is a gift!
13
How Do We Receive?
  • 2 Corinthians 61 We then, as workers together
with Him also plead with you not to receive the
    grace of God in vain.
  • Romans 51-2 Therefore, having been justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access
by faith into this grace in which we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
  • Ephesians 28 For by grace you have been saved
through faith, and that not of yourselves it is
    the gift of God.
  • Acts 1511 But we believe that through the grace
of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the
    same manner as they.
  • Acts 159 and made no distinction between us and
them, purifying their hearts by faith.

14
May I Ignore Sin?
  • Romans 61 What shall we say then? Shall we
continue in sin that grace may abound?
  • Romans 614 For sin shall not have dominion over
you, for you are not under law but under grace.
  • Romans 615 What then? Shall we sin because we
are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

15
I Can Fall From Grace?
  • Galatians 221 I do not set aside the grace of
God for if righteousness comes through the law,
    then Christ died in vain.
  • Galatians 54 You have become estranged from
Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law
    you have fallen from grace.
  • Hebrews 1215 looking carefully lest anyone fall
short of the grace of God lest any root of
bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by
    this many become defiled..

16
What Can Grace Do For Me?
  • Romans 614 For sin shall not have dominion over
you, for you are not under law but under grace.
  • 1 Corinthians 1510 But by the grace of God I am
what I am, and His grace toward me was not in
vain but I labored more abundantly than they
all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was
    with me.
  • 2 Corinthians 129 And He said to me, My grace
is sufficient for you, for My strength is made
perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I
will rather boast in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.

17
  • 2 Peter 15-10 But also for this very reason,
giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue,
to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge
    self-control, to self-control perseverance, to
perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly
kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For
if these things are yours and abound, you will be
neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of
our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these
things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and
has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old
sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more
diligent to make your call and election sure, for
if you do these things you will never stumble

18
Because Of Grace..
  • I am faithful to services because of grace, not
because I need a certain number in a row!
  • I give as I have been prospered because of grace,
not because I need to reach a certain percent.
  • I preach because of grace, not because its a
work that gets me an automatic in heaven!
  • I participate in class because of grace, not
    because its my duty.
  • I study my Bible because of grace, not because I
want to know more than everyone else.
  • I tell others about Jesus because of grace, not
because there is a certain number that will save
    me!

19
Because Of Grace..
  • Because of grace, I never boast!
  • Because of grace, I never complain!
  • Because of grace ____________ .

Dont be fooled, our problems are grace problems!
20
  • 1 Corinthians 1510 But by the grace of God I am
what I am, and His grace toward me was not in
vain but I labored more abundantly than they
all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was
    with me.

Saved By Grace Through Faith

that every mouth may be stopped, and all the
world may become guilty before God.
  • Romans 323 for all have sinned and fall short of
    the glory of God,..

    His blood, through faith,

If I be lifted up.
