  tension between law and grace
• Gods unconditional promise of blessing Israel
  and His demand for obedience in order to remain
  in the promise land
• The tension is not resolved but rather the book
  is an account or narrative of the relationship
  between God and His people

  faith?

  redeem
• The nearest relative would be responsible to
  redeem/protect a relative
