The killer app

• Enables SELECTIVE streaming of inputs (files,
  text, drawings, pictures, sound) in all
  directions in real and virtual classroom.
• Instructor and participants see the user list and
  can select whom to work with in a break out
  sessions pick and share common files.
• The selected groups work together on a same or
  different problem - markups show up on all
  screens within the group simultaneously AND not
  elsewhere.

Laptop vs Tablet

• For these methodologies - Students also need
  tablets, not laptops
• Decision might be area-dependent
• Sciences, Engineering, Arts - Tablet PC
  incomparably more useful than a laptop alone
  extra cost well justified
• Might not be as necessary in social sciences and
  languages.
