Title: Twingo

1
Twingo
  • By Kayla Dedloff, Holly Cohen, Whitney Robinett,
    Tucker Blessinger, and Devin Aguilar.

2
Objective!
  • The objective of the game is to be the first
team to successfully go through all the obstacles
    and get done first.

3
Rules!
  • 5 Curling Blocks (3 Large 2 Small)
  • Sweepers use brooms (cant use hands)
  • First team to a Bingo moves on to Twister
  • You have 8 minutes to complete each event (Bingo
    and Twister)
  • If Bingo isnt completed in the 7 minutes you
must restart at the starting line!
  • If you fail Twister, start over (start Twister
    over NOT curling)
  • The whole team must have each body part on a
    color before victory is achieved

4
Velocity
  • Velocity is speed and direction.
  • The curling puck has to be hit in the right
direction to land on the bingo sheet.
  • The speed and direction of the horse is another
form of velocity, he needs to point the horse in
the right direction and use the right speed to
    control the horse.

5
Gravity
  • Gravity is a force of attraction between all
    objects in the universe.
  • The gravity holds the players to the earth.
  • The gravity holds the horses to the ground.

6
Friction
  • Friction is a force that opposes the motion of an
    object.
  • There is friction between the horse and the ice.
  • The sweepers create friction between the ice and
the puck to help it slow down and stop on the
    bingo board.

7
Newtons first law
  • Newtons first law is inertia ( the tendency of
an object to stay at rest or in motion.)
  • The curling puck will stay in motion after it is
pushed until friction acts on it and slows the
    puck to a stop.

8
Newtons second law
  • Newtons second law is Force Mass x
    Acceleration.
  • The more force you use to push the puck the
farther and faster it will go.

9
Newtons third law
  • Newtons third law is that for every action
force, there is an equal and opposite reaction
    force
  • You are pushing on the ground in twister so the
ground pushes back on your hand.
  • The more force you use to push the curling puck
the more reaction force your arm receives from
    the curling brush.
