Generative learning objects

• Learning objects have learning designs built
  into them
• GLOs separate ?

• Generate variant surface learning objects from
  the same basic design
• Inverts normal model of reuse
• This gives a tremendous increase in productivity
• Allows local tutors to repurpose learning
  objects to meet their local needs and
  preferences (Tom Boyle, 2005)

  template -
• - then we can apply our own subject specific
  examples to it

• A model of how GLOs are produced

• The resulting templates are stored in a template

• A subject specific instance is populated with
