- Attended Foundation Clinical
- Sciences at University of Bradford
- Transferred to Year 1 MBChB
- at Leeds Medical School in 2007
- As a person I
- feel passionate about widening participation in
the community and so actively mentor students
through the admissions process - am hoping to do an intercalated BSc in Clinical
Sciences in between 3rd and 4th yr

- Organisation set up by medical students
- I am currently the Treasurer for the society
- Mainly targets under-privileged students/
- poorly achieving schools
- Mentoring partnership created between medical
student and sixth form student - Used to guide students through the admissions
process - Provides support and an environment for students
to express their concerns about going to
university - Presentations currently targeting 16yrs, but
hoping to extend services to primary schools - Give details of entry requirements and how to
apply - Provide assistance on obtaining work experience
and completing personal statements
