• We work with transnational partners in Denmark,
  Sweden and Ireland to develop and share good
  practice in our different Equal programmes.
• The British Refugee Council manages the ASSET UK
  partnership and the transnational programme.

Danish Red Cross Want2Work Project

• Benefiting from Want2Works experience in a
  national system of dispersal and accommodation
  centres.
• Learning new ways of working with employers,
  volunteering or work placements and developing
  skills audits for asylum seekers
• Gaining from each others approaches to equality,
  diversity and empowerment

• Benefiting from expertise in on-line learning,
  language teaching and information resources.
• Learning to develop new ways of addressing the
  needs of disadvantaged and isolated group.

Committee

• Benefiting from experience of developing language
  provision in an intercultural environment.
• Learning from expertise in strengthening the
  skills of ESOL teachers working with asylum
  seekers.
• Sharing innovative approaches and materials of

The European Thematic Group on Asylum Seekers
(ETG5)

• Asset UK shares its findings with practitioners
  and policy makers in Europe through the ETG5
  process. We will
• Represent the European Council on Refugees and
  Exiles (ECRE) on the steering group of the ETG5
• Identify and disseminate European good practice
  and policy lessons on asylum seekers

• Support the delivery of advice, education and
  training of asylum seekers, capacity building and
  working with employers.
• Focus on enlargement, opening up the second round
  of Equal to the new member states.
