Fuse Box Status

• Producing for 36 modules of each type
• All machined parts in hand
• All spring contacts, capacitors, resistors
  (filter ckt) soldered.
• Fuse soldering in progress
• Type 1 done.
• Type 3 10 done.
• Just received (3rd batch) 853 fuses processing
• (4300 fuses spare remaining)
• Subsequent processes
• Attach HV wiring cables
• Attach HV connector at end of cable
• HV test
• HV continuity check

Capacitors Status

• 17,000 capacitors w/ bent pins sockets made
• Enough for 37 module of each type 10 spare
• Going through HV test
• 2,000 per batch, on 2,750V for 10 days
• 0.2 failure rate, mostly occurred instantly or
  within hours.
• 6th batch being processed
• Hysol coating after HV test
• 1 hour to coat. Cure overnight
• 2 days cleaning socket training (w/ 0.019 pin)
  
• 5 batches coated
• 3 batches cleaned and shipped to CERN
• Limiting process HV test

• Dipped in 50 toluene diluted Hysol
• Let cure overnight then detach clean
