Where, When, and How did the Trojan War Began?

• In the city of Troy
• 1200 B.C.
• Paris took Helen to Troy and Menaleus and sent
  his soldiers to Troy
• Eris started the war because she had a beauty
  contest and Aphrodite cheated by making Helen
  fall in love with Paris

Eris

• She was the goddess of strife, discord, and
  rivalry.
• She started the over a party she wasnt invited
  to.
• She also started it over the golden apple.
• The golden apple showed power and it was shiny
  and all the gods and goddesses wanted it.

Helen of Troy

• Every male wanted to marry her
• Aphrodite's made her fall in love with Paris
• Helen ran off to Troy and married him

During the War

• I identified the leaders of Greeks force
• I was taken home by Menelaus

Paris

• Paris was the youngest son of Priam and Hecuba.
• It was foretold he would cause the downfall of
  Troy.
• During the War
• Paris was the best archer in Trojan forces.
• He almost got killed by Menelaus But Aphrodite.
• Paris kills Achilles by shooting an arrow into
  his heel.
• Philoctetes shoots a poisoned arrow at him and he
  dies.

• He was in the Trojan Horse when the Trojans took
