Title: HOW TO CITE YOUR SOURCES
1 HOW TO CITE YOUR SOURCES
2WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS?
- You must give credit to the person(s) who wrote,
filmed, drew, mapped, recorded or otherwise
created something which you are referring to or
using some way so that it is not assumed that you
created it. - To copy someones work, even another students,
and pass it off as yours, is called PLAGIARISM. - At the very least, it is sloppy academics not to
include a list of references. At worst, it is
theft. - Plagiarism results in a zero for all parties
involved
