abstracts of their papers. Papers are called in

- Adjustments after the EU enlargement business
and government perspective - National economic policies and economic
integration case studies - International business in changing global
environment - theory and practices

reviewers, discussants and session chairs. - This International Conference is designed to
share and discuss ideas and to strengthen the
spirit of European economic and business
cooperation including accession of Croatia to the
EU. -

- GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- 1. Submissions of abstracts
- Submissions of abstracts of the papers must reach
the Program Committee by October 31, 2004 to be
included in the Conference proceedings - Book of
abstracts - after their review. - All submitted abstracts will be considered, but
their acceptance is not guaranteed. The
acceptance will be reported together with the
invitation to prepare and present the paper at
the Conference after November 30, 2004.

- 2. Areas of abstracts
- Submissions of abstracts are welcome in the above
listed 11 topic tracks. Submissions of abstracts
can be sent to following e-mail addresses - euconf_at_efri.hr

- Submissions of abstracts have to follow the
instructions below - abstracts and papers are to be in English or
French (presentations as well), - no changes in titles, authors or order of
authorship after submission, - the title page must show affiliations, complete
mailing address, e-mail address, telephone, and
facsimile numbers for all authors, specification
who will present the paper and at the bottom of
the page the area of interest, - separate pages should include the name(s) of
author(s), title and abstract not less than 300
and not more than 500 words, - abstracts should be written in letter quality
type Times New Roman, font 12, once spaced,
margins 2.5 cm on both sides.

- 3. Paper acceptance and instructions for the
authors - Authors of accepted abstracts will be kindly
asked to prepare final papers for a presentation
at the Conference. - Each presentation will be allowed to take between
10 to 20 minutes, depending on the number of
accepted papers for each session. - Authors of all papers to be presented at the
Conference are requested to follow strictly all
technical instructions available from December 1,
2004 on the internet address - http//www.efri.hr/euconf

- 4. Conference participation
- All participants (selected presenters of the
papers, discussants and sessions chairs) have to
register and attend the Conference. - The authors of the papers have to personally
present their papers. - Selected papers will not be included in the
process of reviewing for publishing after the
Conference unless at least one of the authors has
registered for the Conference. - Presentation of papers at this Conference does
not preclude subsequent publication.
11V. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ECONOMIC

- 5. Proceedings
- The Conference Proceedings will include Program
of the Conference and the book of all abstracts
of selected and to be presented papers. - Authors are free to distribute as many copies of
their papers as they wish during the Conference. - After the Conference the selected papers will be
published in a special publication after the
reviewing by members of the Program Committee.

- 6. Deadlines
- The submission deadline for the abstracts is
October 31, 2004. The Program Committee will make
selection of the papers to be presented at the
Conference till November 30, 2004. Organisers
will immediately notify authors of accepted
abstracts. - Authors are kindly requested to prepare final
text of their Conference paper and give 3 paper
copies and 3.5 diskette in MS Word format, to
the organisers when registering for the
Conference at their arrival. - Eventual earlier receipts of the final texts of
the papers are welcome on the following e-mail
address - euconf_at_efri.hr or kandzija_at_efri.hr.
- Please note that this form is NOT A REPLACEMENT
for paper form and a diskette form delivered at
the registration.

- 7. Registration
- Please be sure to complete the registration form
and return it to indicated address. The
registration fee is 200 EUR (120 EUR for
students) in advance, per each author, or 250 EUR
(150 EUR for students) on site. - The registration fee includes organization of the
Conference, including reweaving, one copy of the
Book of abstracts, keynote dinner, refreshments
during the brakes and other professional and
social events organized and offered during the
Conference. - Please submit your payment by check or banker.s
draft in EUROs payable on Croatian bank. Make
your checks payable to Faculty of Economics
