The next meeting of the Melbourne Chapter of
DAMA, (Data Administrators and Managers
Association) will be held Tuesday 22nd June, 2004
_at_ 530pm. Level 19, 303 Collins Street,
Melbourne. Robert PagliaroAn Architectural
Approach to Data Warehouse Meta Data. This
presentation will look at an overall view of meta
data within a typical data warehouse and explain
how a complete meta data architecture can be
developed. It will address meta data functions
within a warehouse, approaches for assessment of
products and the step required to develop a
strategic architectural view. Robert Pagliaro is
a senior architect with Oakton. Â He has a wealth
of experience in the design of data warehousing
and electronic business solutions and has
designed data warehouse architectures and
solutions across a range of major Australian
companies and government departments.
Refreshments will be served and there will be an
opportunity to network with your fellow data
managers and the Melbourne DAMA Committee. The
session will be free to members and 10 for
