TransPAC Links in 2004

• 2 x 10 Gbps lambdas between USA and JP will be
  installed maybe in August.
• One lambda will be connected to
  StarLight/TransLight, and another will be
  terminated in the west coast of USA.
• Production level of services as well as
  Experiments should be provided over the links.

TransPAC Projects

• Cant be executed over the commercial ISP.
• Can be lead by Asian folks, in case the projects
  have Asian colors scalability, unique products,
  environments and culture/heritage.
• Will be biased toward Grid projects.
• Can be easily extended to other users, because IU
  is operating major research networks in USA.
• Should be highly evaluated by US citizen.
