2Education
A typical seventeen-year-old Dane attends either
high school, technical school, Business College
or a kind of boarding school called continuation
school. When you are an 18-year-old student in
Denmark you receive study grants from the
government. At school we dont wear uniforms,
and we call our teachers by their first name,
which results in a relaxed environment.
3Teenage problems
We believe it is very common to disagree with
ones parents and argue once in a while. The
Danish schools are aware of the fact that some
students are quite mean to each other, and the
schools are trying hard to fight this problem.
4Spare time Family
In our spare time most of us have a spare time
job. We also spend our spare time doing our
homework, listening to music, watching TV and
doing sports. The most common sports are soccer
and handball. Most of us still live with our
parents, but many couples are divorced in
Denmark. A typical family has two or three
children. In the weekends we like to hang out
with our friends, and once in a while we grab a
beer.
5Danish food habits
We dont believe that we eat more fast food than
any other West European country. Most of us bring
a lunch box to school instead of buying something
in the cafeteria. In general most teenagers are
aware of what is healthy and what is not, but of
course there are exceptions.
