Title: General Instructions

1
General Instructions
  • General
  • The intention of this guide is to give the
    Receiving Inspection Department Inspector
guidance on what dimensions to check on
    complicated machined parts.The enclosed drawings
represent a sample of each type of part used in
Cathode Strip Chambers. Not all part drawings
are represented. It is hoped that enough
information is shown on the sample drawings to
guide the inspector to know what is to be
    inspected on other similar parts.
  • Drawings have not been provided for standard
purchased hardware like screw, nuts, and similar
items. These types of parts should be checked on
a SAMPLE BASIS for conformance to the given
    drawing requirements.
