Habitat 1.The Jeweled Spider is found in places
that have a lake near by a place that is very hot
like Africa and Tasman.2.Jeweled spiders only
come out in the summer.
Description 1.A Jeweled Spiders body is about
20c. long and leg about as tall as a pin.2.It has
six stout spines.

Webs and Prey 1.The Jeweled spider makes a
circular web to catch its prey like flying
incests mostly flies. 2.They also snare their
prey with their webs.

Interesting Facts 1.One interesting fact is that
a Jeweled Spiders Latin name is Gasteracanth
Minax. 2. Another is that a female spider eats a
male. 3.Oh, guess what a Jeweled spider is not
poisonous to humans, but if a human ever does get
touched by a Jeweled spider they should go to the
hospital just incase of an emergency. 4. Oh yea,
did you know that a female spider is stronger
than a male. 5. If you are wondering what
Gastracantha Minax means it means threatening and
projecting.
