• PhD PROJECT
• Design and modeling of strain in semiconductor
  nanostructures (quantum dots, quantum wires,
  quantum rings, ) using numerical and/or
  analytical approaches
• Analysis and simulation of Transmission Electron
  Microscopy images
• This project is developed in a Network of
  Excellence of the VI European Framework Program

• REQUIREMENTS Applicants should be graduated in
  physics, engineering or related studies, should
  be fluent in English language and be able to
  write scientific articles and reports.
• BACKGROUND OF INTEREST Mathematics (Numerical
  analysis), Computing (Finite element analysis),
  Physics (Quantum physics), Electron Microscopy
• DESIRED PROFILE You are expected to have an
  excellent academic record and be curious,
  creative and ambitious. Knowledge of spanish
  language is not required, but will be considered
  positively.
• TIMESCALE OF APPOINTMENT
• Contract Fixed term for 12 months, extendible
  for 3 years more
