• No status quo or preconceived ideas
• Start general, then add detail when necessary
• No perfection paralysis (80 info, then action)
• Ask the 5 Why's
• Provide solutions, not excuses
• Employees are the experts
• Systems fail, not people
• Use a customer / product focus
• Less is better
• Good Ideas dont have to cost
