5.3.3 NOTE In some cases, the conversion may
involve significant processing, e.g. to summarise
and interpret voluminous raw data or perform a
transformation between significantly different
schemas, in which case the conversion is not
simple. 5.1.2.5 Nevertheless, some gaps will
need greater efforts than automatic services. If
the identified source material is not sufficient,
a new as is analysis or change of user
requirements in the use case may be required, or
the provision of new data will have to be
considered. Provision of new data may be
capturing new data set, but will more typically
mean amending existing data (e.g. with new codes
or classifications) or processing existing data
(e.g. to derive the central axis of rivers or
other generalisation algorithms). In this case,
some cost-benefits analysis has to be done to
select the most relevant solution
