The Engineering Construction camp held each
year at the Naval Base Ventura County in Port
Hueneme, CA introduces students to engineering
through hands-on learning, teamwork and
competitive skills.

Whether students are actively engaged in
designing, building and racing cardboard boats
Cardboard Boats Race.

constructing a shed which, once built, is
donated to a local Habitat for Humanity

• the camp offers ample opportunities for
  students to interact with professionals who work
  in various engineering fields including
  construction, concrete design, environmental,
  energy, hydrodynamics, electrical, mechanical and
  RD.

In addition to education and hands-on hard work,
there is also plenty of time to have fun with
fellow campers

surroundings of the local area.
