- Experience advantages of studying engineering

4Objectives
- SAME offers high school sophomores, juniors and
selected seniors the opportunity to attend a one
week camp. They learn leadership, engineering and
construction skills, and exchange ideas with
students from around the world ! - Committee Objectives
- Develop strong partnerships with Posts
- to encourage high school students to pursue
military engineering careers through Camp
participation - Increase sustaining member firm participation in
the Engineering Construction Camps - Encourage Camp participants to attend a service
academy - Support the strategic objectives of the Society

Objectives for 2007
9SAME USAFA and Seabees Long Term Tracking
- Contracted out to Erin Ingersoll of Meeting
Visions, LLC. - Conducted two e-mail campaigns and one regular
mail campaign over the course of 2 ½ months. - Out of 493 students, 162 responded (33).
10SAME USAFA and Seabees Long Term Tracking
One student is serving in Iraq with the 557th
Expeditionary Red Horse Squadron and plans to
attend college when he returns.
