13How It Started
- In recognizing the complexity of issues facing
our court-involved youth, Chief Judge Kroll led
an initiative to increase the collaboration
between the Court system and the School District - Initially, a large committee was formed,
followed by several smaller subcommittees to
identify needs and related issues
14The Next Steps

allocating additional personnel to expand the
level of services provided to these youth - Effective April 28th 2008, five Court Education
Liaisons were placed in the juvenile courtrooms
for increased collaboration and services

20Can You Read This?
I couldn't believe that I could actually
understand what I was reading. Using the
incredible power of the human mind, according to
research at Cambridge University, it doesn't
matter in what order the letters in a word are,
the only important thing is that the first and
last letter be in the right place. The rest can
be total mess and you can still read it without a
problem. This is because the human mind does not
read every letter by itself, but the word as a
whole. Amazing, huh?
