• o Linksys RE7000 setup range extender, follow
  these steps
• Start by placing the extender in a location where
  it can receive a strong and stable Wi-Fi signal
  from your main router. Make sure it's within the
  range of your existing Wi-Fi network.
• Connect the power adapter to the range extender
  and plug it into an electrical outlet. Wait for
  the device to power up.
• On your computer or mobile device, go to the
  Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named
  "Linksys Extender Setup." This is the default
  network name (SSID) broadcasted by the range
  extender.
• Once connected, open a web browser and enter
  "http//192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Press
  Enter.
• You will be directed to the Linksys extender
  setup page. Click on "Start Setup" or "Begin
  Setup" to initiate the setup process.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to configure
  your range extender. You will have the option to
  choose either "Range Extender" mode or "Access
  Point" mode. Select "Range Extender" mode if you
  want to extend your existing Wi-Fi network.

• Select your main Wi-Fi network from the list of
  available networks and enter its password when
  prompted. This will allow the range extender to
  connect to your existing network.
• You will also be asked to create a new SSID
  (network name) and password for the extended
  network. This will be the network name and
  password that you'll use to connect your devices
  to the range extender.
• Once you've completed the setup process, the
  range extender will restart. After it restarts,
  you can reconnect your computer or mobile device
  to the newly created extended network using the
  new SSID and password you set up.
• That's it! Your Linksys RE7000 range extender
  should now be successfully set up and ready to
  extend your Wi-Fi network. You can move it to a
  more suitable location if needed to optimize the
  signal coverage.
