Introduction
Friedrichs Condensers is an apparatus or item of
equipment used to condense. A spiraled finger
condenser, was invented by Fritz Walter Paul
Friedrichs, who published a design for this type
of condenser in 1912.

The condensers liquid jacket effectively cools
vapors during distillation, when used in
conjunction with either a heated or chilled
recirculator.

Uses
These condensers have a specially formed spiral
inner tube providing a long vapor path, ensuring
good heat transfer and anti-flooding
characteristics.
