About Fried Rice
  • Fried rice is a dish of cooked basmati rice with
    freshly cooked vegetables. Its a Chinese dish
    and it is also loved by Indians. in this blog i
    will give you the recipe of how to cook a fried
    rice.
  • Ingredients
  • 200 gm basmati rice.
  • Salt.
  • Cooking oil.
  • 1 carrot.
  • 1 onion.
  • 1 capsicum.
  • I bowl of chopped mushroom.
  • Garlic and ginger.

  • Add the soaked and drained basmati rice to it.
  • Cook the rice with an open lid on medium flame to
    simmer the rice.
  • Cook the rice until it is just cooked. Do not
    overcook the rice.
  • Quickly strain rice in a colander, and let it
    cool completely. you can also refrigerate it for
    30 minutes. It also helps.
  • You can also rinse the rice with water so that
    the rice stops cooking.
  • Put this cooked rice aside.
  • Making of Fried Rice
  • Now take a chopping board and finely chopped the
    veggies including carrot, peas, onion, capsicum,
    and mushroom.
  • Take a frying pan and add 3 teaspoons of cooking
    oil to it.
  • Now add chopped garlic and ginger in it and cook
    until it gets a little brown.
  • Add chopped onion in it and cook till the onion
    becomes light brown.

  1. Now add 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar to it. This
    adds a terrific note of sourness to the veg.

  2. Now the fried rice is ready. Serve hot.
