Effectiveness
The concept of wearing a face mask is to reduce
the risk of coronavirus transmission from
asymptomatic carriers. According to coronavirus
face shield mask manufacturer India, face masks
also act as a close barrier to prevent people
from infected droplets coming through the mouth
of an infected person while sneezing, coughing,
talking, etc. But people often touch their mask
and face to adjust it again and again. This makes
it a little risky than the face shields with
polycarbonate partition design. On the other
hand, a face shield provides the polycarbonate
partition against coronavirus. It covers your
face from head to below the chin. This also
prevents you from touching your face again and
again. Hence, its more effective than face masks.

How to wear it
Face masks prevent instant viral exposure,
depending on how you wear it. Many people wear
their face mask incorrectly. This makes the
entire safety process ineffective. The right way
to wear a face mask is to let it cover your nose
and mouth completely. On the other hand, you
have to attach your face shield with a
polycarbonate partition wall onto your head. As
opposed to the face mask, face shields cover the
face from the head extending below the chin. This
prevents you from touching your face and thus,
the spread of the virus to a great extent.

Inhalation Exposure
Face masks without the polycarbonate partition
design are exposed to inhalation. This means that
there are still chances of transmitting the virus
through droplets while sneezing, coughing, or
talking if the mask is not worn properly.
According to a study, a face shield with the
polycarbonate wall can reduce the risk of
inhalation exposure by 96 within the range of
around 18 inches of a person whos coughing. Some
business owners are also installing the
polycarbonate office partitions in cabins of
their employees to ensure less inhalation
exposure while working.
