Why Pain Gels Are Better Than Painkillers

Side Effects
Painkillers often have several side effects like
nausea, skin rashes, fatigue, heartburn, ulcers
etc. A pain gel on the other hand has little to
no side effects and provides instant relief. Pain
gels can be used by anybody of any age group and
have a soothing effect on injuries. They rarely
have any adverse effects internally and are
usually dermatologically tested for side

Focused Pain Relief
When you use a pain gel you have the liberty and
flexibility to apply it exactly where you have
suffered an injury or are experiencing pain and
discomfort. In the case of oral pain killers,
however, you have to wait until it enters your
bloodstream and are processed by your organs
until it starts working.
Instant Pain Relief
An ice gel or a pain gel doesnt need to travel
through your bloodstream before it starts
working. Painkillers on the other hand do. This
is why pain gels are preferred for instant pain
relief as you dont need to wait until they start
working. For serious injuries that need immediate
pain relief, pain gels are preferred.

Multiple Safe Doses
In the case of painkillers, you cannot keep
popping them if they have no effect on lowering
your pain as it is detrimental to your body. You
can, however, reapply a pain gel to your injury
as and when youd like if the pain persists.
Furthermore, painkillers arent an ideal fit for
children but pain gels can be used on children.
Some Pain Gels Are Individualized
Pain gels are very often individualized and aimed
at specific muscles. There are different gels for
back pain relief, different gels for leg pain
relief and different gels for minor
tears/pulls/spasms. For this reason, you can use
the gel that best fits your problem instead of
popping a painkiller and hoping for the best
