What is Harassment?
Harassment is regulated by state laws, which
differ by state, but can be defined as some
activity which threatens, annoys, alarms,
intimidates or puts a person in fear of their
safety. At school, harassment is also called as
bullying. In workplace, employees require to be
cautious about sexual harassment. The term
harassment comprises and can be anything which
threatens like slurs, jokes, or graphic or
physical behaviour relating to color, race, sex,
national origin, religion, age and disability of
a student.

How to file a police complaint against harassment?
Before filing a complain, you must report the
harassment to the law enforcement agency in your
area. Report the harassment to your local police
or sheriff's department. You will need evidence
that you have been harassed. Also ask for a copy
of conmplaint. If this does not settle the issue,
you can file a court complain with your District
Court. During filling your Complaint, write the
facts of case in story form, providing specific
details about what has occurred.
