I am a male who according to the law of nature,
cannot give birth to a new life. Most of our
religious gurus and books which people ardently
follow does mention about how an individual who
saves a life is next to God but what does it have
to say about the Creator of that life?

A Life can only be saved after it has been
created and only a woman makes it possible. Now
lets understand the extent to which we safeguard
or treat a woman who gives birth after bearing
pain and undergoing drastic changes within
herself for close to 280 days. This deep diving
into the life of a woman post pregnancy will help
us determine their level of emotional and mental
strength and also define the areas where we on an
individual level need to transform.

Richa gave birth to an angel. Her instant
reaction was not as Indian society expects it to
be. Even though there was a smile on her face, it
lasted for a small moment. She thought she was
diagnosed with Postpartum Depression, a situation
that is being faced by close to 10 million women
in India alone. A brief definition of it is the
drop in hormone levels in a mother after giving
birth to a baby. This chemical imbalance in the
body causes mood swings, extreme sadness, and
anxiety as well. For many of us this may not be
an important topic to talk about but when I
researched about it, I came to understand the
pain it brings in a womans life.

It took a while before she could really connect
with her newly born daughter who is now the apple
of her eyes. Her every moment is what Richa
captures beautifully in her camera and her heart,
this is something that only a mother can feel
more towards. How lovely it is Richa, isnt
it? Dhruvika, her daughter has now become her
topmost priority not just because she loves her
but also because Dhruvikas tantrums trigger the
happiness hormones within her.

Thats how women are, they go through more
ordeals than we as men do and yet they have their
ways to overcome sufferings and portray it as
something that was very subtle. Sadly, we are not
even grateful towards them for having such a
magnanimous heart. We may have entered into an
era that is supposedly very modern but two things
have never changed, constant nagging of elderly
people and the love of a mother. Richa, beliefs
that not only have her priorities changed but she
herself has also undergone a great deal of inner
transformation.

As a daughter in law she is always expected to be
a mother of compromises and it is she who may
have to take a hit and still be asked to be
quiet. Most of you who will read this blog will
agree to me, only if youre a woman. We Men or
people who belong to the elderly section of our
society make such big talks about life and
various other topics but we forget to empathize
with the stress a woman experiences because
thats the law of nature, they say. Are you
serious?

All this quietness that she or most of the women
have to duly obliged towards are actually mothers
of the word called, 'Strength. Richa has an
ocean of sadness and tears to vent out on others
but she wont do that at all. You see, she is a
woman and she knows it very well on how to cope
up with it. So, instead of being sympathetic go
and take some tips from women like her. However,
she is surrounded by some great friends like
Bhawana, her sister-in-law, Sapna and Aman.

Now, this stimulates the positive side of life
for her, say roughly to about 20 to 30 percent
because the rest of positivity undoubtedly comes
from her daughter and guess what, she is actually
very cute and adorable. The kind of company you
are around is what shapes you as an individual
For Richa, it is so important to avoid negative
influences, either in the form of relatives or a
close friend. This kind of understanding has
surely made her wiser, wiser than she was
yesterday.

Her challenges and her tears may have not found a
permanent solution but she has not given up on
life. As she says it, Dhruvika is her
Motivation. Despite of having a heart that has
enough of tears to shed, she focuses solely on
her daughter and her growth. May her unflinching
determination allow her heart to roar like a lion
and help her in claiming her crown of being a
Super Mom. All the best, Richa!!
