  Server Manager service in the list of all the
  Windows services.
• 4). Right-click the service and select Restart.
• 5). After Restarting the service try to run the
  QuickBooks application once again and check if
  you are still getting the QuickBooks Database
  Server Manager not running on this computer
  error.

• 1). Click the Windows Start button and select
  Control Panel from the right side panel.
• 2). Select Programs and Features and click

  double-click QuickBooks Desktop.
• 4). From the options displayed select the option
  to repair the application.
• 5). Follow the instructions displayed on the
  screen to repair the application.
• 6). Once the application is repaired restart the
  Windows and try to run the QuickBooks Desktop
  application once again.
