• Anal Fissure- Occurs when skin near anus tear due
  to hard stools.
• Rectal Prolapse- the rectum ( i.e. the last few
  inches of the large intestine ) or a part of it,
  loses its normal attachments inside the body, and
  protrudes out through the anal opening.
• Hemorrhoids- is the swelling of the blood vessels
  near the anal opening
• Fecal impaction- Chronic constipation can cause
  hard stool to become stuck in the intestines.

Pre and Post Surgery Diet To Avoid Constipation

• Drink plenty of fluids
• Include fiber rich food in your diet like fruits,
  vegetables, nuts, pulses, grains
• Avoid caffeinated drinks (tea, coffee, soft
  drinks) and processed food (white bread, pasta,
  processed food).
