Introduction
  • Cross-cultural management is a method
    which is used by the managers to manage the
    people from a different culture to enhance the
    effectiveness of the organization or work system.
    It is very necessary to manage the people of
    different culture to keep them motivated and
    passionate about the work (Thomas et al., 2017).
    The performance and productivity of a motivated
    employee are always high. The motivated employees
    are termed as the performers. Therefore, from the
    organization point of view, the cross-cultural
    management is very important.
  • Cross-cultural management also helps the
    managers to analyze the different culture so that
    they can easily understand the values, attitude,
    perception, tradition, etc. of the different
    culture.

Body of the Report
  • The analysis of the dimension of cross
    culture such as power distance index,
    individualism versus collectivism, masculinity
    versus femininity, uncertainty avoidance index,
    pragmatic versus normative, indulgence versus
    restraint has provided deep understanding about
    the Australian culture. The study also covers the
    external environment of Australia such as
    political factors, economic factors,
    technological factors, legal factors. The
    analysis of external environment of Australia
    also provides a deep understanding of the
    strength of the country. The Australian economy
    is growing without any interruption from the last
    25 years (Cohen et al., 2016).
  • They should have good command over local
    language as well as deep understanding of the
    culture to be successful in the Australian
    culture (Fiske et al., 2016).

  • The cross-cultural management is one of
    the important methods to enhance the performance
    and productivity of the employees as well as the
    organization because it helps in managing the
    people from a different culture which helps the
    managers to keep the employees motivated and
    passionate about their work. Cross-cultural
    management also enables the managers to analyze
    and understand different cultures. The Australian
    culture is very dynamic and diverse regarding
    religion and languages. The people of Australia
    welcome the people from all the religion and
    culture. They do not support discrimination and
    racism.
