Samuiensis, a psychedelic mushroom that contains
the hallucinogenic compounds psilocybin and
psilocin.

Psilocybe Samuiensis Strain Guide
This magic mushroom is distinguishable because of
its small cap thats roughly 7mm to 15mm in
diameter. Its usually conic to convex in shape
with a small, nipple-like center. The cap is
sticky with a membrane that can be easily
separated.
Psilocybe samuiensis cap also changes based on
its own level of moisture. Its commonly
reddish-brown when moist but takes on a lighter
brown color when dry. This magic shroom can grow
as tall as 6.5cm high and as 1.5cm thick with a
slight thickening towards the base. The stem, or
stipe, is hollow, whitish, and covered with white
fibrils.
When injured, this psychedelic fungus turns a
bluish purple color wherever it was handled. Its
odor and taste are slightly similar to grain.

Psilocybe samuiensis was first seen in soil which
contains both sand and clay in a village calld
Ban hua Thanon in Koh Samui, Thailand. Since
then, it has been spotted across the countrys
Ranong Province and also at Angkor Wat in Siem
Riap, Kampuchea. It prefers to grow in rice
paddies during the monsoon season from early July
to early September.
