• Q "A most unfortunate translation! In each of
  the 28 other New Testament passages the Greek
  pascha is (always) translated Passover.' Why
  this one exception in Acts 124?

A The Greek word is Pascha (Hebrew Pesach)
which means Passoverand this is how all
accurate translations show it.

  originally, name of pagan vernal spring time
  festival ALMOST COINCIDENT in date with paschal
  Passover festival of the church, --Eastre, dawn

• In other words, Easter was originally a pagan
  festival celebrated in the spring time.
• If Jesus had a ministry of 3.5 yrs, then he
  turned 30 ( was born) in the Autumn, died in
  the spring. Thus, a December (winter) X-mass has
  nothing to do with Jesus or his birth, but with
  the Solstice Tammuz.

• From Acts 121-4 we see Herod took Peter DURING
  the DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD and was going to
  bring him forth to the people AFTER Easter.
• Lev 235-6 In the fourteenth day of the first
  month at even is the LORD's passover.  And on the
  fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of
  unleavened bread unto the LORD seven days ye
  must eat unleavened bread
• The KJV is correct, based on the Roman Pagan
  calendar.

Easter is the English spelling of the ancient
Assyrian goddess Ishtar. The origin was the
Babylonian name, Astarte, consort of Baal, the
Sun god. Their worship is denounced in the Bible
as the most abominable of all pagan idolatry.
