Spalding attended Chaffey College and later
obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Western
University College of Law in the year 1993. She
passed the California bar exam in the very first
attempt. Prior to this, Cynthia worked for the
employment department for the State of
California, where she helped unemployed and
disabled workers. It was while working there that
she gained interest in law and decided to make a
career in the field of law.
