Title: Cleaning Cheat Sheet

Cleaning Cheat Sheet
Maintaining each single room in your home clean
and orderly is never easy. Yet, when done on a
regular basis, it will enable you to enjoy your
free time over the weekends instead of wasting it
in futile attempts to catch up on the cleaning
chores you have put off throughout the week. You
have no idea where to start? If that is the case,
we suggest you check the cleaning cheat sheet we
have compiled for you as it will enable you to
clean your entire house in a heartbeat!
2
Let's Begin with the Kitchen
Why turn cleaning your appliances into a muscle
training? Instead of scrubbing your oven or
dishwasher vigorously, allow the detergents you
use to sit for a while and do their job. The
grime will soon loosen, allowing you to clean it
with a single swipe. Finally, keep your
disposable paper towels close at hand. You can
use them to wipe spills immediately after they
take place, which will save you lots of efforts
and time in the long run.
Kitchens easily win the title of the dirtiest
rooms in any household, so it would be a good
idea to start there. If you don't want to waste
hours in attempts to clean your kitchen, you
should consider following the 20/80 rule. 80 of
the products hidden in your cupboards are just
that - hidden. You rarely use them and have
completely forgotten about the existence of some
of the items. Get rid of those and keep only the
other 20 you use on a regular basis. It will
save you time and efforts when cleaning your
cupboards.
3
Next Stop The Bathroom
This is probably your second least favourite room
to clean, right? These few tips might prove to be
useful. Take the time to swab up the mirror, the
walls and doors of the shower cabin after use.
Bathrooms tend to collect tons of mildew and you
have excess moisture to thank. Keeping your
bathroom as dry as possible will help solve the
problem.
Don't you just hate that icky soap slime? Eww, we
know we do! You won't have to deal with it any
longer, if you switch from using bars of soap to
liquid soap. This will spare you from constantly
having to scrub clean your soap tray.
4
Proceed with your Living Room and Bedroom
Most of your kids' toys end up on the floor of
your living room? There's an easy solution for
you invest in posh wicker baskets with lids to
hide the children's toys in. You can store other
items in there too, such as magazines, hair
accessories and books. If you have a pet, there's
a good chance your soft furniture and beds are
covered in layers of shed fur. Lint rollers are
suggested by Main Cleaners to be the most
effective, quick and easy way to deal with the
matter. All you have to do is pass a lint roller
on your sofas, couches, drapes and bedspreads to
ensure the effective removal of hairs and dust.
Give your decorative pillows a fluff once in a
while - a couch looks much better and cosier when
it's not covered in pillows that are all
flattened and out of shape. Of course, a living
room cannot do without regular vacuuming. But you
don't have to go out of your way to clean every
crevice daily hoover the high-traffic sections
of your carpeting only to save time.
5
Finish off with the Hallway
This is the easiest section in your house to
clean, so it comes last. If you want a clean
hallway and foyer, it would be best to ask all
members of your family to take off their shoes as
soon as they walk in through the front door. The
same, of course, applies in full force to your
guests.
Remove excess clothing from the hallway racks. A
rack overflowing with coats and bags leaves one
with the impression of untidiness. In summer,
remove all the winter coats, hats and mufflers
from your rack. The same is valid for your shoes,
which means no flip-flops on the shoe rack in
December. If you have rugs in the hallway, it
would be an excellent idea to beat the dust out
of them (outside, of course), instead of
hoovering them.
As you can see, we have arranged the rooms
depending on the level of efforts, required to
maintain them clean and tidy. Follow these hacks
and you will enjoy a neater, cosier and cleaner
living environment without breaking your back.
